The largest LED dome in China landed in Shanxi

Recently, a science and technology and art innovation center in Shanxi was officially put into operation. At the same time, a large-scale display project built by Zhouming Technology Group with a diameter of about 40 meters and an area of over 2000 square meters was unveiled simultaneously. As the largest LED dome in China currently, the dome is positioned as the core experience space of the innovation center. It will undertake diversified functions such as cultural display and public experience, bringing a new sensory feast to the audience that integrates technology and art.

The overall display plan of the LED dome display system was designed by Zhouming Technology Group throughout the process. Taking into account the particularity of the project, the team conducted comprehensive considerations during the design stage, focusing on key dimensions such as building structural adaptability, visual effects of audience viewing distance and looking up angle, building safety load-bearing requirements, and subsequent maintenance convenience. After multiple rounds of optimization, the UVF 7.8 series LED transparent screen was finally selected as the core display device.

The selection of Zhouming UVF 7.8 series LED transparent screen accurately matches the diversified needs of the project. The product has the advantage of high permeability, which can retain the natural light and open space feeling of the atrium of the innovation center to the greatest extent, and avoid the damage of the screen to the aesthetics of the original space of the building; meanwhile, its lightweight design of 8kg/㎡ effectively reduces the bearing pressure of the building and ensures the structural safety. In terms of display performance and practicality, the product also performs well: the high refresh rate of 3840Hz ensures smooth and smooth picture playback without smear blur; the brightness of up to 4500nits can adapt to clear display under different lighting environments; excellent power consumption control, only about 277W/㎡, and supports natural heat dissipation mode. With front and rear two-way maintenance design, it can meet the long-term stable operation requirements of Innovation Center.

In order to achieve a continuous and smooth display effect of a 40-meter-diameter hemispherical surface and overcome the technical difficulties of splicing special curved surfaces, Zhouming Technology Team customized 32 display boxes with different size and radians, and adapted the dome through precise splicing. The curved surface shape of different areas completely eliminates splicing gaps and achieves seamless connection of the picture. After the LED dome was officially launched, it was successfully built into an immersive dome theater, which can provide the audience with a 720 all-round visual encirclement experience, allowing traditional culture to be presented in an interactive and visual way, greatly enhancing the interest and appeal of cultural communication., it also further highlights the core positioning of the Science and Technology and Art Innovation Center.
