Equipment procurement exceeds 100 million yuan! Huike adds code to layout e-paper and MiniLED indust

According to South Korean media reports, Huike has made frequent actions in the field of display manufacturing equipment procurement recently, and the cumulative amount of related purchase orders has exceeded 100 million yuan. This intensive procurement focuses on equipment in the core production links and will provide key support for the promotion of its key projects such as electronic paper and Miniled, demonstrating the company's determination to add to the layout of the new display industry.

On January 8, South Korean display manufacturing equipment company Narae Nanotech announced that it had signed display manufacturing equipment supply contracts with two holding companies of Huike, with a total cooperation amount of approximately 9.9 billion won (equivalent to nearly 47.03 million yuan). Among them, the contract amount with Chuzhou Huike Display Technology Co., Ltd.(hereinafter referred to as Chuzhou Huike) is approximately 4.3 billion won (equivalent to RMB 20.43 million), and the contract amount with Changsha Huike Technology Co., Ltd.(hereinafter referred to as Changsha Huike) is approximately 5.6 billion won (equivalent to RMB 26.6 million).

According to the bidding information disclosed by BitNet, Narae Nanotech successfully won the bid for Chuzhou Huike's coating machine procurement project. Chuzhou Huike's core task is to undertake the construction of Huike's electronic paper display module complete project. The project was signed and implemented in April 2024, with a planned total investment of approximately 8 billion yuan and a construction period of approximately 12 months. The core construction content of the project covers electronic paper, mobile phone display modules and supporting production lines. After being put into production, it will focus on producing small and medium-sized size modules, electronic price tags, smart readers, smart office books, student practice books, electronic schoolbags, smart table signs, smart doorplates and other diversified products, comprehensively covering multiple application scenarios such as smart retail, education, and office.

Changsha Huike, another entity that has reached a cooperation with Narae Nanotech, shoulders the important task of promoting Huike's MiniLED backlight/direct display module and complete machine construction project. According to information disclosed by the Liuyang City Natural Resources Bureau, the MiniLED project has a total investment of 9 billion yuan and covers an area of about 109 acres. The contract was completed on January 9, 2025. Construction is planned to start in February, and the main structure of the main factory will be fully capped in December of that year, and follow-up construction work is currently steadily advancing. The manufacturing equipment purchased this time will further improve the project's production chain and lay the foundation for subsequent mass production.

It is worth noting that Huike's equipment procurement cooperation is not limited to a single manufacturer. In addition to Narae Nanotech, INVENIA, another well-known South Korean equipment manufacturer, also recently announced a cooperation with Huike. The two parties signed a display manufacturing equipment supply contract worth 13.2 billion won (equivalent to 62.7 million yuan). The bidding information shows that INVIA successfully won the bid for Chuzhou Huike's dry etching machine procurement project. As a key equipment in the display panel production process, this equipment will provide core technical guarantee for the high-end production of Chuzhou Huike electronic paper project.

Industry analysts believe that Huike's centralized purchase of more than 100 million yuan of display manufacturing equipment this time accurately matches the production needs of its two key projects. As key equipment such as Narae Nanotech's coating machines and INVENIA's dry etching machines have been successively delivered and put into use, the mass production progress of Chuzhou Huike Electronic Paper Display Module Project and Changsha Huike MiniLED Project will be effectively accelerated, further promoting Huike's production capacity release and market layout in the new display field will strengthen its core competitiveness in electronic paper, MiniLED and other sub-tracks.
