On May 7, TCL Technology issued an announcement stating that the company (including its subsidiaries) currently has no investment plans to build a new 8th or 8.6th generation OLED production line, and the company has no plans to build a new display production line through fixed increase in funds. The company supports the healthy development of the industry and is committed to promoting the industry's growth from pursuing scale to a high-quality development stage driven by technological innovation, product upgrades and ecological layout.

In the field of large size, the company has successively formed three generation 8.5 LCD production lines (t1, t2 and t10) and two generation 11th LCD production lines (t6 and t7) from 2009 to 2021; in the field of small and medium-sized size, the company's one generation 6th LTPS-LCD production line (t3 and its expansion line) and one generation 6th AMOLED line (t4) have been mass-produced, and one generation 8.6 oxide semiconductor LCD production line (t9) is also being shipped as planned. Based on the above optimization of production line layout, production capacity and product structure, TCL Huaxing's TV product market share ranks second in the world, e-sports displays and LTPS tablet products market share ranks first in the world, and the proportion of OLED high-end product shipments has increased rapidly.
