Yuanheng Optoelectronics will build a new high-definition display R &D headquarters base in Guangmin

On March 14, Shenzhen Guangming District Industry and Information Technology Bureau released the "New High-definition Display R &D Headquarters Base Project Selection Plan" to the outside world. It is understood that the intended land use unit for this project is Shenzhen Yuanheng Optoelectronics Co., Ltd.(hereinafter referred to as Yuanheng Optoelectronics).

1. Construction details of Yuanheng Optoelectronics Project

According to the announcement, this project will obtain construction land through independent competitive land acquisition. The planned total land area of the project is approximately 5,000 square meters, and the estimated building area is approximately 30,000 square meters (the final area shall be determined in the land use right transfer contract). In terms of production time, there are clear requirements: after the project is signed the land use right transfer contract, it must be put into production within one year from the date of obtaining the "Completion Acceptance Record Receipt" issued by the construction department. Judging from the project construction benefit analysis data, within 5 years after the project is completed and put into operation, the cumulative output value scale (operating income) must not be less than 9.14 billion yuan, which undoubtedly demonstrates the project's huge development potential and economic value.

2. Industry type fit

The types of industries involved in this project strictly comply with Item 8 of the Information Industry of Article 28 of the Encouraging Category of the "Guidance Catalogue for Industrial Structural Adjustment (2024 Edition)""". Its business scope covers display component manufacturing and production special equipment, including new flat panel display devices such as TFT-LCD, OLED, Mini-LED/Micro-LED display, electronic paper display, laser display, and 3D display, as well as key components and materials such as glass substrates for the LCD panel industry and cover glass for the electronics and information industries. This shows that Yuanheng Optoelectronics 'layout in the field of new high-definition displays is highly consistent with the national industrial development orientation and will effectively promote the upgrading and development of related industries.

3. Relationship between project introduction and policy

As a strategic emerging industry that Shenzhen focuses on cultivating and developing, ultra-high-definition video display occupies an important position in the "Shenzhen Action Plan to Cultivate and Develop Ultra-high-definition Video Display Industry Clusters (2022 - 2025)". The plan emphasizes that by 2025, we must build an industrial ecosystem with leading scale, innovation-led, and structurally optimized, create a characteristic industrial cluster area with collaborative innovation and linkage development, gradually highlight the agglomeration effect, and strive to create a globally competitive ultra-high definition video display industry cluster. The "Action Plan" also clearly points out that Guangming District plays a key role in this industrial layout, focusing on introducing upstream and downstream supporting resources such as glass substrates, chemical reagents, and liquid crystal materials, and is committed to building a core leading area for the ultra-high-definition video display industry. At present, Guangming District has become Shenzhen's main production base for ultra-high-definition display products. As far as Yuanheng Optoelectronics is concerned, it currently leases an office plant of about 305 square meters in Guangming District, mainly for overseas sales of LED displays; it leases a 40,000 square meters of factory in Bao 'an District for production and manufacturing, and has also built a production base in Zhongshan City. Based on the company's development plan, Yuanheng Optoelectronics hopes to take root in Shenzhen and deploy its headquarters and R & D bases to help itself become bigger and stronger.

4. Existing industrial layout of Yuanheng Optoelectronics

At present, Yuanheng Optoelectronics has built a relatively complete industrial layout, with three manufacturing bases: the Greater Bay Area Headquarters Base, the South China Manufacturing Base, and the North China Manufacturing Base, with a total factory area of more than 200,000 square meters. Among them, the Greater Bay Area Headquarters mainly focuses on projects with a high proportion of R & D and deep customization, giving full play to its advantages in technology R & D and high-end customization; as a manufacturing center for scientific and technological innovation products, the South China Manufacturing Base focuses on projects with high innovation content and suitable for new application scenarios, continuously promoting product innovation and application expansion; The North China manufacturing base mainly provides customers with standard product manufacturing services, with standardization and rapid batch delivery as its core advantages to meet the market's large demand for standardized products. It is worth mentioning that in October last year, Yuanheng Optoelectronics 'Greater Bay Area Intelligent Manufacturing Headquarters Base in Zhongshan Torch Industrial Group Park was officially capped.

The project has a total investment of 400 million yuan. In the future, a production base of 120,000 square meters of LED display screens and 300,000 LED lighting lamps will be built, further enhancing Yuanheng Optoelectronics 'strength in the field of LED product manufacturing and laying a solid foundation for its construction and development in the new high-definition display research and development headquarters base project.
