On August 27, 2025, TCL China Star Suzhou Base officially won the gold certification of the International Sustainable Water Management Standard by AWS(Alliance for Water Stewardship), becoming the first company in China's semiconductor display industry to receive this top honor. This breakthrough achievement not only marks that TCL China Star ranks among the international advanced ranks in the field of water resources management, but also serves as the industry's first benchmark, providing a replicable and replicable green transformation solution for China's display industry, becoming an important milestone in TCL China's implementation of sustainable development strategy.​

On the one hand, relying on the intelligent monitoring system to collect and analyze water use data in real time, accurately grasp the water use situation in each link, and realize dynamic allocation and efficient utilization of water resources; on the other hand, introducing advanced water-saving technology to recycle treated wastewater. Technology leads the construction of a recycling system: Relying on its own technological advantages, we will build a water resource recycling network covering the entire factory. In 2024, a water-saving leading group will be established to continuously optimize water use processes and steadily improve water resource utilization efficiency by strengthening management and supervision.​

Precise management and control achieved a breakthrough in goal: Strictly follow the water intake intensity control requirements of Suzhou City Water Affairs Bureau and set a water intake intensity target of 1.02 tons/square meter. The actual water intake per unit area in 2024 will be only 0.57 tons/square meter, far lower than the preset standard, and the water conservation effect is remarkable.​
