According to news released by Shenzhen, on January 5, 2026, Shenzhen held a 2026 project construction site promotion meeting. 222 key projects were started in a concentrated manner, with a total investment of 157.34 billion yuan. The project started this time covers many key areas such as emerging industries, infrastructure, and people's livelihood security, laying a solid foundation for development at the beginning of the 15th Five-Year Plan. Among them, Yuanheng Optoelectronics Qianhai's new high-definition display global intelligent manufacturing base has been launched simultaneously as a key industrial project, which will further strengthen Shenzhen's industrial advantages in the field of ultra-high-definition display.

Public information shows that the advancement of the project has undergone full preparations in the early stage. In August 2025, Yuanheng Optoelectronics '"Selection Plan for Key Industrial Projects of Qianhai New High-definition Display Global Intelligent Manufacturing Base" and related industry development supervision agreements were completed, laying a policy foundation for the implementation of the project. The project is located on the Gushu West Plot 05-18 in Bao 'an District. It covers an area of approximately 12,200 square meters and has a planned total investment of 500 million yuan. The core construction includes production plants, R & D office areas and supporting service facilities. The estimated annual output value after being put into production is not less than 2 billion yuan.

From a strategic positioning perspective, this project accurately connects with Shenzhen's 20+8 industrial cluster development plan, focusing on the research and development of new display technologies and the expansion of application scenarios, which will effectively strengthen Qianhai's industrial agglomeration effect in the field of ultra-high definition video display, and at the same time help deepen Shenzhen and Hong Kong industrial collaborative cooperation. As the main body of the project, Yuanheng Optoelectronics has strong strength. The company was established in 2002 and is headquartered in Shenzhen. Its core business covers the research and development, manufacturing and service of LED display application systems. It owns many well-known brands such as Yuanheng Ruishi Langshi Lizhen, and has accumulated a profound technical and market foundation in the display field.

It is worth noting that Qianhai Base is not an isolated layout of Yuanheng Optoelectronics in the field of new displays. As early as March 2025, Shenzhen Guangming District Industry and Information Technology Bureau announced the selection plan for the new high-definition display R & D headquarters base project. Yuanheng Optoelectronics is the intended land use unit for the project. The project will cover TFT-LCD, oled, Mini/Micro LED, electronic paper and other multi-dimensional new display devices and supporting fields, demonstrating the company's strategic intention to comprehensively deploy the new display industry.

In addition, Yuanheng Optoelectronics 'production capacity layout in the Greater Bay Area is also steadily advancing. In October 2024, the company's Greater Bay Area Intelligent Manufacturing Headquarters Base project located in Zhongshan Torch Industrial Group Park will be capped. The project has a total investment of 400 million yuan. After completion, it will form an annual output of 120,000 square meters of LED display screens and 300,000 lights. The production capacity scale of LED lighting fixtures and the Shenzhen Qianhai Base will form synergy and complement each other, further improving the company's industrial layout in the Greater Bay Area and enhancing its core competitiveness.
