Recently, Chenxian Optoelectronics and Xinyichang officially signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement, and the two parties will jointly build the first TFT-based Micro LED production line in the mainland of China. This cooperation focuses on the core process link of the massive transfer of glass-based Micro-LED chips, and is based on multiple application scenarios such as commercial display, smart conferencing, transparent display, and vehicle-mounted display to jointly overcome the core pain points of the industry's mass production implementation and cost optimization. Work together to open up this blue ocean market with a scale of 100 billion.

As a core player in the field of glass-based Micro-LED, Chenxian Optoelectronics has been deployed on this track for a long time and has achieved remarkable results. Public information shows that Chenxian Optoelectronics has invested in the construction of the mainland of China's first size TFT glass-based Micro LED production line in Chengdu High-tech Zone. The total investment of the project exceeds 4 billion yuan and covers an area of 53 acres. According to estimates, when the project is fully put into operation, it will effectively drive the output value of the upstream and downstream industrial chains to exceed 100 billion yuan, injecting strong impetus into the large-scale development of the domestic glass-based Micro-LED industry.

This strategic cooperation between Chenxian Optoelectronics and Xinyichang is not only an accurate connection between the two companies 'superior resources. Chenxian Optoelectronics is deeply engaged in the R & D and industrial layout of glass-based Micro-LED technology. Xinyichang has deep accumulation in the field of high-end equipment manufacturing. It is worth noting that the price of TFT-based Micro-LED products is steadily declining, and the cost is showing a good trend of reducing by 50% every two years. It is expected that its production cost will be the same as oled within 10 years. At the technical level, Chenxian Optoelectronics has achieved a leading position in TFT-based Micro LED full-chain technology, and successfully released the first 88P0.5 TFT-based Micro LED splicing screen and other diversified products, demonstrating strong technological transformation capabilities.

In addition, the application scenarios of glass-based technology are constantly expanding. With the explosive growth of computing power demand for AI chips, advanced packaging technologies have put forward higher requirements on the performance of substrate materials, and the trend of glass substrates replacing traditional organic substrates has become increasingly apparent.
