First in Europe! Sony Black Crystal virtual production studio completed

Recently, according to Sony's China official website: On January 12, Sony cooperated with Plateau Virtuel(virtual production studio, a subsidiary of the Novelty-Magnum-Dushow Group) and Studios de France(France's major provider of radio and television program shooting venues) to build a virtual production studio in Seine Saint-Denis, north of Paris, France. It installed Europe's first Sony Crystal LED Black Crystal B series display with an area of 90 square meters (18 meters wide x 5 meters high).

This arc-shaped screen is 18 meters wide and 5 meters high. It consists of 450 display units, each display unit consisting of 8 LED panels.

Sony's Crystal LED black color crystal display technology can provide very high contrast, a very small dot spacing of 1.5mm (the current market is generally 2.6mm), and even a curved screen can well restore details and dynamics.

"Our virtual production products provide high-quality image quality that is very satisfactory to users. We are excited to partner with Plateau Virtuel and Studios de France, the first studio in Europe to use Sony Crystal LED black color crystal curved screen technology to help show creators and production companies with virtual production. said Fabien Pisano, sales director of Sony European Media Solutions.

It is reported that this project combines Sony Crystal LED black color crystal display technology with CineAltaV(known as VENICE abroad) movie camera capture technology to provide high-quality image quality to producers and photographers.

By combining Crystal LED black color crystal screen/CineAltaV camera technology, Sony provides a strong combination of image quality. In addition to allowing the camera to be very close to the screen without causing moire phenomenon, it also has high color consistency at the shooting end (CineAltaV) and display end (Crystal LED black color crystal), so this combination has been widely praised by experts and industry insiders.

It is worth mentioning that the studio will open on February 12 in Seine Saint Denis, north of Paris.
