Mini/Micro LED equipment manufacturer Keyun Laser has completed Series B financing of over RMB 100 m

Recently, it was reported that Keyun Laser completed Series B financing of more than 100 million yuan. This round of financing was led by Jiuzhao Kangqian Investment and followed by Yisheng Capital. After this round of financing, Keyun Laser will continue to invest in research and development, maintain its technical accumulation in the field of high-end laser equipment, continuously iterate technology and upgrade products, and coordinate research and development and marketing in multiple fields.

It is understood that Keyun Laser was established in December 2018 and is committed to the promotion and application of automated equipment such as laser repair/laser cutting/LDI/laser stripping in the display, PCB, LED and semiconductor industries. It is a high-tech company integrating development, sales, production, manufacturing and service.

Keyun Laser covers a total area of 5400 square meters of factory, including a clean room of 3000 square meters. The dust-free level of the factory can meet the production requirements of full-process equipment in the display and semiconductor industries. At the same time, it has an independent process laboratory to meet various process testing and new process development.

On March 29, 2019, Keyun Laser completed delivery of its first fully automatic polarizer laser cutting equipment, and it was also the first equipment delivery since the establishment of the joint venture company. The equipment adopts a high-precision laser control and motion control system, which can meet the requirements of narrow-frame and borderless products for polarizing plate cutting accuracy. At the same time, a high-speed, high-precision optical inspection system (AOI) is equipped to realize real-time monitoring of cutting quality.

Since then, Keyun Laser has successively delivered automatic polarizer laser cutting equipment, G10.5 LCD panel laser maintenance equipment, flexible OLED laser automatic cutting equipment, etc. for ultra-narrow bezel splicing screen projects.

Starting from 2022, the company has started the Keyun 2.0 strategy, leveraging its accumulated laser technology, and extending its business expansion to new display, PCB, semiconductor and photovoltaic fields. At present, Keyun Laser's Micro OLED laser repair and Array ink/Cut laser repair technology have broken through foreign monopolies. Cell/Module Repair has a high repair yield, with a market share of more than 70%. Mini LED laser scribing, Mini LED repair machine, Micro LED laser stripping, Si wafer hidden cutting and other equipment technologies are mature.
