In 2022, JCDecaux Chemical Corporation achieved a total operating income of 81.2332 million yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 2.18%; and achieved a net profit attributable to the parent company of-3.0066 million yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 127.65%.

Regarding the reasons for the change in operating income, JCDecaux said that the impact of shrinking domestic consumption on the main macroeconomic aspects has been seriously reduced, exports have been caused by insufficient demand in major European and American markets due to inflation, and investment has been delayed and reduced due to epidemic prevention, and project construction has been reduced. It is rare for the three carriages to be weak at the same time. The two markets served by the company, semiconductor packaging and optoelectronic packaging, of which LED packaging and display-related businesses have been more affected.

However, JCDecaux Chemical Corporation has made breakthroughs in the development of new Mini display-related products. The details are as follows:

(1) In 2022, JCDecaux Chemical Co., Ltd. and DuPont Company of the United States jointly developed the DE-7600 series packaging resin EMC materials that combine high reliability and precision blackening technology required for small-pitch and micro-pitch (MiniRGB) display device packaging. Materials have continued to expand in scale in customer commercial applications, and have successfully obtained assessment, certification and mass production introduction of a large RGB device packaging factory in Central China.

(2) For light conversion films for microled display applications on glass substrates, JCDecaux Chemical's TS-50 using 50um B-Stage organosilicon thin film loaded phosphor technology has obtained batch verification orders from a Micro display pioneer company.

(3) JCDecaux Chemical Corporation stated that 2022 is the first year of exploration for the company's ultra-small size CSP to enter Mini backlight applications.

Although the first to enter are surface-like lighting applications, such as the Honda New Energy Vehicle Front Face H Logo lamp launched in March 2022 and the company's CSP0805 white light device that has been adopted by automotive interior atmosphere lighting in 2021.

The integration of surface array light sources with display purposes under drive control is a development hotspot for various terminal manufacturers. For example, the Asus high-end gaming competitive computer ROG16 triangular secondary screen released at the end of 2022 uses the CSP0603 array high-definition display product Logo, and the company's single-sided light emitting CSP0805 red light and Amber light series developed for Mini display car taillights and brake lights.

(4) In addition, JCDecaux Chemical Co., Ltd. is also exploring the direction and feasibility of flexible epoxy B-Stage adhesive film TC-1000 in the optical packaging application of VR and AR glasses.
